Give a MCQ as a graded test
The way in which you present your MCQ to your students depends on what you want to achieve: detect points of the course that are not understood, provide a fun way of revising, evaluate competencies, etc. The same MCQ can be presented several times in different ways.
To give a MCQ as a graded test:
- In Pedagogical tools > MCQ > My MCQ, right-click on the MCQ and choose Associate the MCQ with a new test.
- In the pop-up window, select the time limits between which students will be able to answer the MCQ from their Webspace, the associated service, as well as the other characteristics of the test (test date, coefficient, category, theme, etc.). By ticking the box Associated evaluation, you'll access the list of competencies to be associated (by domain and by subject).
- Click on the button
Execution modalities for the iTest to define the execution modalities (you can authorize the return to previous questions, mix them up, make the correction more flexible, etc.).
- Click on Create.
- The MCQ is announced on the home page of the Students Webspace under the rubric Assignments in the upcoming days. The link becomes active during the time slot you define.
NOTE: Unlike MCQ given for revision purposes and MCQ given as homework, the mark for an MCQ given as a test will count towards the student's grade point average.

You can also associate a MCQ with a test from the test creation window in the tab Grades > Entry of grades.
