How can I adapt my MCQ to students with special needs (accompaniment projects, ULIS, SEGPA, UPE2A)?
To adapt your MCQ to students with special needs, you have two options:
- either offer the same MCQ to all students, and adapt the execution modalities (fewer questions, more time);
- or create a MCQ adapted to the concerned students and give it only to them.
Adapt the execution modalities for a QCM
- Go to the display Pedagogical tools > MCQ > My MCQ, then select the MCQ from the list.
- In the tab Execution modalities > rubric Personalization per student, tick the options to apply and then enter a value in the corresponding drop-down menus:
- Give (x) additional minutes;
- Remove (x) questions randomly.
The option Give (x) additional minutes is only available if you have limited the time for the student's response (see the rubric Conditions of execution); the option Remove (x) questions randomly is only available when all the questions are proposed to students (see the rubric Presentation of the questions). - Associate the MCQ with a test, a competence evaluation or a homework notebook by clicking on the button Associate the MCQ.
- In the list of MCQ, select the associated MCQ (white line under the MCQ title).
- On the right side of the screen, click on No Personalization.
- In the pop-up window, click on Add a student, tick the concerned students, click on Validate and close the window.
The additional time and/or the number of fewer questions correspond to the configuration made in step 2; you can change this configuration student per student.
Give a MCQ to only a few students
- Go to the display Homework notebooks > Entry >
My homework notebooks.
- Select a week and then a course in the timetable.
- In Assignment to be completed, click on New, then select MCQ / MCQ associated with a test/MCQ associated with an evaluation.
- Select the MCQ in the pop-up window and click on Validate.
- Select the MCQ from the list, then double-click in the column Students.
- In the pop-up window, un-tick the students not concerned by the MCQ, then click on Validate.
