  How do I recover a survey template?

With the button Recover a template...

1. In the left-hand column of the display Communication > Information & Surveys, select Distributed.
2. Click on the button New then select Conduct a survey.
3. In the pop-up window, click on Recover a template.
4. In the second pop-up window, select the template, then click on Validate.

You can now modify the template to suit your needs.

With a .zip file...

For inter-institutional exchanges, for example, you can recover a template from a *.zip file that has been created with sharing in mind.
