  • Connecting for the first time from a smartphone via QR Code

 
The PRONOTE Teachers Webspace is a web-based area accessible from a computer or a mobile application to be installed on your phone or tablet. The PRONOTE application is available on the main stores (Android, iPhone).

Step No.1: Make sure you have all the necessary elements

The institution has provided you with the following items:
  • a QR code to access your personal account on the mobile application,
  • a 4-digit verification code.



Step No. 2: Download the mobile application

  1. From Google Play or the App Store, enter PRONOTE in the search field.
  2. Download and install the application with the icon , edited by Index Education.
  3. Once the mobile application is open, the Privacy Statement window appears. Click on the terms and conditions link to read them.
  4. Then return to the PRONOTE application. Accept the general conditions of use and click on Activate the services.

Step No. 3: Configure your account

  1. Click on the button at the bottom right.
  2. In the window Add an account, click on With a QR Code

  3. Your camera options are activated. Scan the QR code on the document provided by the institution.
  4. Enter the 4-digit code, then click on the button Validate.



  5. The account name is displayed. Click on it.



  6. A message appears offering you to connect automatically to this account next time you log on. We advise you to choose Yes.
  7. If this is your first time logging on to your Webspace, the password personalization window appears. Enter your personalized password in accordance with the password composition rules adopted by the institution, then enter it again to confirm. Click on the button Validate.


  8. The first time you connect to PRONOTE, you must enter a PIN code. You will be asked to use the numeric keypad to set it. This double authentication requires you to enter a PIN code (minimum 4 digits), without choosing a combination that could be easily guessed (current year, date of birth, famous date, etc.). Click on the button Validate.



  9. Enter the PIN code a second time, then click on the button Validate.



  10. If you're logging in from a secure workstation from which you'll be logging in regularly, add it to the list of registered devices: you won't be asked for your PIN code when you log in from this workstation. Click on Validate.



  11. This takes you to the homepage of your Webspace.
