Send usernames and passwords by SMS
Login details (username and password) are private information. At the beginning of the year, please communicate them confidentially to each person concerned. PRONOTE offers several means of communication. You can send a message by SMS if your establishment has subscribed to this service, or by e-mail or post.
Before performing the following operation:
- Verify that your institution has subscribed to the SMS service,
- Verify in the display Communication > Mail and Documents >
Templates that the documents Connection of [category of users] comply with what you want to communicate to users.
- Go to the wanted display:
- Resources > Teachers/Students/Guardians/Staff/Inspectors >
List, - Resources > Guardians >
Information form, - Internships > Internship counselors > List.
- Resources > Teachers/Students/Guardians/Staff/Inspectors >
- Select the recipients from the list.
- Click on the button
in the tool bar. - Select the SMS type Connection specific to each resource. This SMS template can be modified in the display Communication > SMS >
Editing SMS templates.
By default, only the username and password are provided. If you have not provided the login address by any other means, add:
- either the address of the common Webspaces home page, which appears in the panel Publication parameters of Server PRONOTE.net (on the console for hosted users);
- Server
- or the Digital Workspace-DW (ENT) address, if you have delegated the authentication of Webspaces.
- Click on the button Send.
PRONOTE warns you if certain recipients do not have a valid telephone number.
