How are proficiency levels assigned in Cycle 3?
The CEFR classification allows the level of proficiency in a foreign language to be evaluated.
For Cycle 3, proficiency levels are assigned as follows:
- Proficiency level very good: assigned from level A2 in at least 1 of the 5 language activities and A1 in all others;
- Proficiency level satisfactory: assigned when level A1 is achieved in the 5 language activities;
- Proficiency level poor: assigned from level A1 in at least 3 of the 5 language activities;
- Proficiency level unsatisfactory: assigned from level A1 in 1 or 2 of the 5 language activities.
