How does automatic grading work?
The automatic allocation of a grade to each student is based on the grading scale defined in Parameters > Evaluations > Proficiency levels.
- The result obtained for each evaluation is converted into points, according to the defined correspondence (example with colors and default values):
= 50 points
= 40 points
= 25 points
= 10 points
When intermediate levels are used:
-
= 33 points and
= 18 points.
- Each student thus obtains a total number of points in each subject.
- This total is adjusted to the class grading scale and rounded to the nearest point.
Example:
For a total of 135/250 points (5 evaluations) and a grading scale of 20, the student will receive a grade of 11/20:
(135×20)/250=10.8 rounded to the nearest point, or 11.
