How do you notify students of a supervised test and still get a head start on entering grades?

From the homework notebook, right-click on the concerned course and schedule the written test (or competence evaluation).
In the pop-up window, enter a title and instructions. Tick the box Create a test to automatically display the grades column to be filled in.
To ensure that your students are informed about the upcoming written test on their Webspace, you need to tick the box Published in the homework notebook.
Your test is automatically created and can be modified in Grades > Entry.
