We haven't chosen PRONOTE in hosted mode: how can we recover administrative staff from one year to the next?
At the end of the year: generate the incoming year preparation file
- Go to the menu File > Prepare the following year.
- Click on Close, then click on Yes: you switch to Exclusive usage.
- Save the file PréparerLAnneeSuivante.zip at a location you'll remember.
If you forgot to generate the incoming year preparation file at the end of June, find the * .profiles file from the previous year's base. By default, this is located in the installation folder of your old server, at the following address (see screenshot below):
C:\ProgramData\IndexEducation\PRONOTE\SERVEUR\VERSION [concerned year]\FR\Serveurs\ [XXXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXXXXXXXX].
Depending on the version of Windows and the options selected, the ProgramData folder may be hidden. If this is the case, make sure that the option Show hidden files, folders and drives is selected on your PC (menu Start > Control Panel > Appearance and Personalization > Folder options > View).
At the start of the year: recover the administrative staff
- From a Client PRONOTE, logged in as superadministrator, launch the command File > User administration.
- Click on the button Recover the users.
- Select the *.zip incoming year preparation file or the *.profils file.
- Specify if you want to Add users (recover all last year's users) and/or Update the users (recover existing user passwords, for example).
- Click on the button Validate.
