  • All connections are in use, I can't connect to the Client. What should I do?

Your contract includes a limited number of simultaneous connections in administrative mode (four by default, sometimes more). If you can't wait for a connection to become available, you have several options:

Temporary connection in Student Administration mode

If your account also benefits from the Student Administration connection mode, and if the data you wish to modify can be accessed from it, login with your usual password and username.

Temporary connection in Administrative consultation mode

If your institution has the consultation license, and if you don't need to modify any data, log on in Administrative mode with your usual password and username, taking care to tick the box Consultation.

And if you're a superadministrator...

You can identify who is currently logged in and force them to log out.

If your institution has a consulting license:

  1. Connect to the Client by ticking the box Consultation.
  2. Go to Server > Display the list of connected users.
  3. In the pop-up window, right-click on one of the users, then click on Disconnect the user [...].

If your institution does not have a consulting license:

  1. Double-click on the console shortcut on your desktop (or download it).
  2. In the panel Server PRONOTE, go to Monitoring of connections to identify who is currently connected.
  3. Right-click on one of the users, then click on Disconnect.

If this is a recurring problem, preventing administrators in particular from connecting to the Client, you can reserve a certain number of connections for them from the console panel Server PRONOTE.
