  • Appoint anti-bullying referents and student ambassadors

A new display allows you to enter information about bullying contacts: bullying referents among staff and teachers, and ambassadors among students.

Appoint a bullying referent

  1. Go to the display Communication > Suspicions of bullying > Anti-bullying referents and ambassadors.
  2. Click on Add a referent.
  3. In the pop-up window, tick the people you want, then validate.
  4. Depending on the current contact preferences of each of the selected referents, several icons may appear in the columns Authorized discussions:
    • : the referent is open to discussions with all students or guardians;
    • : the referent is open to discussions with only some of the students or guardians.
    • : the referent does not accept discussions with students or guardians.

      Note
In order for students or guardians to contact the anti-bullying referents, staff and teachers must have accepted discussions with them. Go to the display Resources > Staff/Teachers > Form, rubric Communication, to verify.

  5. Tick the box Publish the contact information for students and guardians.

  6. Students can write to designated staff/teachers directly from the SOS button on the mobile app.

Appoint the student ambassadors

Any student who volunteers can become an ambassador. In addition to adults, students must also be made aware of and vigilant about the issue of bullying. They are key points of contact because they can identify situations at a very early stage and help the educational team respond more effectively. Their role is to raise awareness among their classmates, stay attentive to others, recognize signs of distress, and encourage students who are struggling to talk to an adult.

  1. Go to the display Communication > Suspicions of bullying > Anti-bullying referents and ambassadors.
  2. Click on Add an ambassador.
  3. In the pop-up window, tick the student ambassadors, then validate.

  4. Tick Publish the student ambassadors.

  5. The names of the student ambassadors (along with their classes) will then appear in the Students and Parents Webspaces.
