Edit the end-of-cycle assessment
Step 1: Verify the list of evaluated classes for each reference frame
- Go to the display Competencies > Reference frames >
Per domain /
Per subject.
- Select a cycle from the top drop-down menu.
- Depending on the display, select subjects or domains from the list on the left.
- Right-click and choose Modify > Classes.
- In the pop-up window, tick the evaluated classes: they are displayed in the column Evaluated classes.
Step 2: Choose the calculation method for the proficiency levels
- Go to the menu Parameters > EVALUATION > Competencies.
- Choose one of the two options:
- from all the assessments linked to the domain: this is an average of all the evaluated competencies, where each item is on the same level;
- according to the proficiency levels of each domain element: this is the average of the significant elements (blue lines).
If you choose a calculation based on proficiency levels for each element of the domain, and teachers use the reference frame per subject, be sure to fill in the column Significant element associated with the assessments in the display Competencies > Reference frames >
Reference frames per subject. If no matching is established, each item will be counted at the same level as a significant element.

Step 3: Enter proficiency level per domain
- Go to the display Competencies > Cycle assessments >
Student's cycle assessment.
- Select a class and a student from the lists on the left.
- Select the period End of cycle in the right-hand drop-down menu.
- The entry of the proficiency levels can be conducted:
- manually: double-click in one of the columns Proficiency level for each domain. You can select several domains and assign them the same level using the command available with a right click;
- automatically: click on the button
at the top of the column Domains to calculate the proficiency levels based on the evaluations entered according to the calculation mode selected in the menu Parameters > EVALUATION > Options (see above) and the type of average you want (classic, taking the last 5 proficiency levels, the best 5 proficiency levels, etc.). Calculated values can still be modified. You can find the calculation mode used by moving the cursor over the column No. points.
Note that the status Absent is not accepted by LSU.
Step 4: Enter the synthesis of scholastic achievements
- Go to the display Competencies > Cycle assessments >
Student's cycle assessment.
- Select a class and a student from the lists on the left.
- Select End of cycle as the period in the right-hand drop-down menu.
- Enter the synthesis of scholastic achievements in the corresponding frame.
