  • Can teachers report that a student's average is unrepresentative?

Yes. If a student has been absent from too many tests, his/her average will be distorted. By activating the option dedicated to non-representative averages for the 10th and 11th grade students, teachers can indicate this in PRONOTE: the average will then not be taken into account for the baccalaureate continuous assessment and will have to be replaced by an evaluation.

NR is displayed on the report card and, where applicable, the gradebook. Students and their guardians can view this information in their Webspaces. It is also visible in the school transcript or on the Parcoursup assessment from the displays Results > School transcript >  School record form and/or Results > To Parcoursup >  Assessment per student.
  1. Go to the menu Parameters > EVALUATION > Gradings.
  2. In the frame Averages of the subjects counting for the continuous assessment of the Baccalaureate, tick Allows teachers of the 10th and 11th grade to indicate that a periodic average is not representative.

  3. Indicate whether you wish to display NR in addition to or instead of the representative average.

Non-representative averages are not sent to the national applications Parcoursup and LSL. Once the average has become representative (following replacement evaluations, for example), the NR mention must be removed.
