Count one absence per course rather than combining consecutive absences
An absence is combined with the student's previous absence if:
- the 2 absences are for the same motive;
- the 2 absences overlap at least one course;
- there are no courses between the two absences;
- there are no more than 7 days between the two absences.
By default, PRONOTE Campus combines consecutive absences. On the contrary, to count one absence per course:
- Go to the menu Parameters > Assiduity > Options.
- Un-tick the option Merge the absences of the successive courses (non-contiguous courses, spaced by less than 7 days): if the student has been marked absent for all 4 courses of the day, 4 absences will now be counted instead of one.
