  • Enter the unavailability of lessons

You can enter unavailability for lessons as you do for teachers, classes and rooms. This allows you to indicate, for example, that the lessons of a given subject must imperatively take place in the morning (unavailability in the afternoon in this case). Lesson unavailability is in addition to resource unavailability. They are strictly complied with during automatic placement. During manual placement, they are indicated, but the user can ignore them. Wishes, on the other hand, indicate the time slots to prioritize during the placement. They are preferences, not constraints: PRONOTE Campus tries to comply with them, but this is not guaranteed.
  1. Go to the display Schedules > Lessons > Unavailability and wishes.
  2. Select the lessons that have the same constraints in the list on the left. Think of using the sorting of a column to find for example all the lessons of the same subject.
  3. Click on the red brush next to the menu (the green brush is used to define the periods in which the lessons should be placed as a priority, if possible).
  4. Click and drag on the slots where the lessons should not be placed.
