Can we place a lesson even if the place is not available?

Yes, if the place is not possible due to constraints such as unavailability, lunch break, etc. or if the problematic lessons are not locked. You can then "force the placement" by ignoring constraints or by de-positioning problematic lessons.
PRONOTE Campus warns you and asks you to confirm.

If problematic lessons are locked, placement is not possible.
