  • What are the placement properties of a course?

The placement properties of a course are to be defined in case you use automatic placement.
A course can have a place according to its pedagogical criteria:
  • stationary : the class meetings take place every week in the same time slot, for example the course must take place once a week
  • variable : the place of the class meetings can vary from one week to another, for example once a week with different times

In addition, the class meetings of a course can be:
  • movabl M: the number of weeks in which the class meetingsmay be held is greater than the number of class meetings; by indicating the potential weeks of the course, you leave more possibilities during the automatic placement, for example 14 class meetings but can take place during the semester;
  • non-movable: the number of weeks during which class meetings may be held is equal to the number of meetings.
  • cumulable C: it ithe number of weeks during which class meetings may be held is fewer than the number of class meetings. It is possible to place several class meetings for a single course in the same week.

These placement properties are visible from the list of courses, in the columns Place status ( or ) and Mobility (M or C).
