  • What are the placement properties of a course?

The placement properties of a course are to be defined in case you use automatic placement.
A course can have a place according to its pedagogical criteria:
  • stationary : the class meetings take place every week in the same time slot, for example the course must take place once a week
  • variable : the place of the class meetings can vary from one week to another, for example once a week with different times

In addition, the class meetings of a course can be:
  • movable: the number of weeks in which the class meetings can take place is greater than the number of class meetings; by indicating the potential weeks of the course, you leave more possibilities during the automatic placement, for example 14 class meetings but can take place during the semester;
  • cumulable: it is then possible to place several class meetings of a course in the same week, can take place several times a week.

These placement properties are visible from the list of courses, in the columns Place status ( or ) and Mobility (M or C).
