Activate student/guardian management
The management of the students is not essential to build the timetable since it is the classes or the groups that are put in the courses. However, it is essential if you want to edit personalized schedules or use features related to attendance or grading. Student management allows you to print, e-mail and publish on the Internet each student's timetable. It also allows you to manage the links between Tutorials/Options according to their assignment.
- Go to the menu Parameters > Other modules > Students.
- Tick Activate student management.
Indicate what should be taken into account when calculating the number of students in the courses: the actual population or the entered population.
Note
Adding students to a class updates its number of students in real time (No. stud.). You can choose to take this number into account (in calculating course population, group population, etc.):
- if the entered population for the class is zero: PRONOTE Campus uses the number of students only if you have not entered a population, otherwise it uses the population entered;
- regardless of the population entered in the class: PRONOTE Campus always uses the number of students as a reference.
- Indicate which students should be deducted (absent, in internship, etc.).
- Tick Activate parent management if you communicate (send report cards, etc.) with any of them.
