  • What are the different types of users?

User profiles allow you to define sets of authorizations. By assigning users to these profiles, you define their authorizations. There are 3 user types and, by default, 3 different profiles.

User statuses

Superadministrators

  • have access to all administration applications (Controller , Servers , etc.)
  • always has the rights to the group Administration for a schedule.
  • cannot be assigned to any profile other than an Administration profile;
  • can change the passwords of all users;
  • can modify Administration profiles.

Base Administrators:

  • can create new schedules from the administration application of the Servers;
  • can have the rights of the group Administration for a schedule.

Other Users:

  • access the schedules to which they are assigned with rights corresponding to their profile (modification/consultation).

The default profiles

Administration:

  • non-modifiable profile with all authorizations;
  • to be assigned to this profile, the user must first be designated as a base administrator.

Modification:

  • authorizations for creation, modification, communication, import, and export.

Consultation:

  • allows only the consultation of data (read-only);
  • allows printing, sending by e-mail, and exporting, depending on the authorizations granted.

In non-hosted mode, user and profile management is accessible from the Controller via the pane Network user.
In hosted mode, this management is possible from the  Client via the menu File > User administration, as well as from the  Hosting Console for assigning profiles only.
