What are the different types of users?
User profiles allow you to define sets of authorizations. By assigning users to these profiles, you define their authorizations. There are 3 user types and, by default, 3 different profiles.
User statuses
Superadministrators
- have access to all administration applications (Controller
, Servers
, etc.) - always has the rights to the group Administration for a schedule.
- cannot be assigned to any profile other than an Administration profile;
- can change the passwords of all users;
- can modify Administration profiles.
Base Administrators:
- can create new schedules from the administration application
of the Servers; - can have the rights of the group Administration for a schedule.
Other
Users:
- access the schedules to which they are assigned with rights corresponding to their profile (modification/consultation).
The default profiles
Administration:
- non-modifiable profile with all authorizations;
- to be assigned to this profile, the user must first be designated as a base administrator.
Modification:
- authorizations for creation, modification, communication, import, and export.
Consultation:
- allows only the consultation of data (read-only);
- allows printing, sending by e-mail, and exporting, depending on the authorizations granted.
In non-hosted mode, user and profile management is accessible from the
Controller via the pane Network user.
In hosted mode, this management is possible from the
Client via the menu File > User administration, as well as from the
Hosting Console for assigning profiles only.
