What are the main steps of the implementation? (hosted mode)
Step 1: Connect to the hosting console
To connect to the hosting console, you must download an application from the site:
http://www.index-education.com/fr/console-hebergement-pronote-campus.php
Once the application is installed and launched, you need to identify yourself:
- with the hosting number,
- with the password (received by SMS),
- with an invoice number (at first connection only).
Step 2: Configure a schedule
- From the hosting console, go to the panel Configuration
. - Enter a domain name for the Controller.
- By default, Associate PRONOTE Campus.net is ticked: this makes Webspace publication possible.
- Enter a domain name (it will be visible to the users).
- Customize the name of the schedule to easily find it in other panels.
- Change the time zone, if necessary.
Step 3: Put a database into operation
An empty base (first time used, for example)
- From the hosting console, go to the panel My schedules
. - Select the schedule in the drop-down menu.
- Click on the tab PRONOTE Campus server.
- The Publication's name is the name seen by the users. By default, it is the name of the schedule, but you can customize it.
- Click on the button Create a base.
- Configure the time grid. It can be modified later.
- Validate. The base is automatically put into service after the validation of the time grid.
The current base (during the year, by example)
First step: Generate the necessary files
- From a Client PRONOTE Campus connected to the old Server PRONOTE Campus (locally installed), launch the command Imports/Exports > USERS > Export the users and their authorizations (*.profils)... and save the file.
- From the old Server PRONOTE Campus (locally installed), launch the command File > HOSTING OF PRONOTE Campus > Generate the file nameofthebase.HHYP for hosting. In the pop-up window, enter your hosting number, validate and choose the folder where the file with the extension *.HHYP will be saved, which contains the database and possibly additional files (photos, attached document, etc.).
The generation of the necessary files can also be done from PRONOTE Campus Single User. The commands are Imports/Exports > USERS > Export the users and their authorizations (*.profils) and Imports/Exports > PRONOTE Campus > Generate the file nameofthebase.HHYP for hosting.
Second step: Load the database from the hosting console
- From the hosting console, go to the panel My schedules
. - Select the schedule in the drop-down menu.
- Click on the tab PRONOTE Campus server.
- The Publication's name is the name seen by the users. By default, it is the name of the schedule, but you can customize it.
- Click on the button Load a base.
- Select the file *.HHYP generated in the previous step and click on Open. The base is automatically put into operation.
Third step: Load users and their authorizations from the hosting console
- From the hosting console, in the panel Controller of the console, go to the tab Assigning to profiles.
- Click on the button Recover all the users and their authorizations.
- In the pop-up window, designate the file *.profils generated at the end of the first step.
