  • Activate the evaluation by competencies for the students

HYPERPLANNING enables you to assess your students by competency, based on official or self-created reference frames.

First step: allocate a reference frame to a class

  1. Go to the tab Competencies > Reference frames > Implementation of competencies.
  2. Select a class from the list on the left.
  3. If an evaluation by period is planned, define it beforehand. Leave the default value in the drop-down menu, the breakdown by period is done at a later stage.

  4. In the section Commentary and appraisal per block, select the commentaries and appraisals:
    • Allow comments to be entered in light of the evaluation: for each person who can carry out a competence evaluation, also allows them to comment on it.
    • Allow the entry of appraisals by block: independently of the possibility of evaluation, allows the entry of an appraisal at the level of a block of competencies.

  5. Click on the line New.
  1. In the pop-up window, select:
    • the wanted reference frame using the drop-down menus Training program and Reference frame category allow you to reduce the number of choices in the list of reference frames if your database has many.
    • all the competence blocks in the competence reference frame in order to verify the associated competencies;
    • you can individually select the competence blocks;

  1. Validate, HYPERPLANNING associated the reference frame with the class.
  2. Double-click in the column Mock-up of the competence statement to allocate a mock-up to each evaluation period.

Second step: allocate the blocks of competencies to the appraisers

  1. Select the competence block(s) for which you want to define or the same teacher(s)).
  2. Right-click on your selection and choose Evaluation of the studies > Teachers.

  1. In the pop-up window, choose the type of teachers authorized to evaluate these competencies.
    • per subject, select the subjects in which these competencies will be evaluated, 
    • Pedagogical coordinator,
    • Tutor/Person in charge.

  1. Proceed for each block of competencies.

  1. If necessary, adjust the evaluation period by double-clicking in the corresponding box. Annual evaluation only, or evaluation over one or more periods in addition to the annual evaluation.
  2. Activate block-by-block evaluation per competence by ticking the corresponding box.

Third step: allocate competence blocks to company evaluators and students

  1. If an annual evaluation is planned for all competence blocks, tick the box in the column title.
  2. Otherwise, select the competence block(s) for which you want to activate evaluation by company tutors, internship counselors or apprenticeship supervisors.
  3. Right-click on your selection and choose In-company evaluation > Periodicity and define the evaluation periods.
  4. In the pop-up window, select An evaluation per period and choose the concerned periods.

  1. Select the competence block(s) for which you want to activate evaluation by company tutors, internship counselors or apprenticeship supervisors, or self-evaluation.
  2. Right-click on your selection and choose Self-evaluation > Periodicity.
  3. In the pop-up window, select An evaluation per period and select the concerned periods.
By double-clicking in a box, you can modify periods or teachers block by block.
