  • Organize a short-term replacement

To organize a short-term replacement, you must first enter the teacher's absence (see Enter a teacher or staff member's absence).
  1. Go to the display Absences > Teachers> Entry of absences and replacements
  2. Select the absent teacher from the list on the left and the concerned absence from the list at the bottom of the screen.
  3. Select the option Short Term Replacements (STR).

  4. In the list at the bottom, double-click in column Replaced by.

  5. In the pop-up window, use the filter options to narrow down the list of teachers; if the replacement is made within the framework of the PACTE teacher program, click on the button  in the rubric Mission members and in the window that appears, only tick the missions you want.

  1. Select the replacement from the list, then click on the button Assign the substitute; if the replacement is part of the Pacte teacher program, assign the mission using the drop-down menu in column Mission to be associated with the course (the number of hours worked out of the number of hours planned for this mission is shown in brackets).

Method 2: weekly or monthly, from the replacements table

  1. Go to the display Absences > Teachers >  Assign the replacements in the same place.
  2. Select the concerned period from the drop-down menu at the top left of the display.

  1. Filter the list of proposed teachers according to your criteria; for example, for the Pacte teacher program, click on the button of the rubric Mission members and only tick the missions you want in the window that appears.

  2. Click on Display the corresponding teachers: the table on the right of the screen updates.

  3. All teachers with the icon  will receive your replacement proposal; un-tick the corresponding box for some of them.

  4. Click on the button at the top right of the concerned course, then click on one of the sending options (Publish the requests on the Teachers Webspace/Send by SMS/Send by mail/Send by discussion).

  5. Once the request has been sent, the icon disappears. A new icon symbolizing the chosen dispatch option appears; move your mouse over it to view the option and dispatch date.

Replacement requests published on the Teachers Webspace are visible on the PRONOTE dashboard for teachers, in a dedicated widget. When you send a request via PRONOTE, the icon  appears. The teacher's response is also shown in the location of this icon:  if the request is accepted,  if the request is refused. To find out what time the teacher responded, move the cursor over the icon.
  6. Once the responses have been received, assign the replacement by ticking the box to the right of the column; a window appears.

  7. If the replacement is part of an mission, select the mission from the drop-down menu, then click on Yes.

PTo view the number of hours worked on a mission, go to display Daily management and absences > Teachers > Summary of performed hourly volumes.
