  • Import modified timetables

If you have modified the timetables on a copy of the base in service, you can import the modifications into the base in service. This makes it possible to reshuffle part of the timetable without disrupting the work of other users.
  1. Go to the menu Imports/Exports > EDT > Import the classes'/teachers' timetables.
  2. In the pop-up window, select the copy of the base *.edt containing the modifications.
  3. The import window appears: in the tab Choice of resources, tick the classes whose timetables you wish to import, then click on Next.

  4. In the tab Choice of periods, choose the import mode:

    • The full year (or Import the ticked periods if your base includes periods), to replace annual timetables without  creating a period (in the next step, you can choose the date on which changes to weekly timetables will take effect),
    • Import a new period, for example, a class outing. By clicking on Next, EDT asks you to define the period: highlight the concerned weeks on the slider and give the period a name. If your database is already divided into periods, EDT will also ask you to select the calendar into which the period is to be imported.

  5. Click on next and in the tab Options, indicate whether you wish to replace the existing timetable (default option) or add courses that can be added to the existing timetable.

  6. From the drop-down menu, choose the date on which the changes will be taken into account: this is the date on which the new timetable will appear in the weekly timetable, and will become visible from Webspaces if you have PRONOTE.
  7. Clck on Import: at the end of the import, EDT lists the imported courses and those that have been deleted. You can then Cancel or Validate the import.
