How do you remove a student from one course without detaching them from another?
When customizing timetables for students with special educational needs, you may find yourself wanting to remove a student from one course without necessarily assigning him or her to another. There are two ways of doing this.
Detach the student in a "fake course".
- Create a subject Exemption.
- When necessary, create an Exemption course to which you assign the student as a Detached student and place the course in the relevant slot.
- If the exemption concerns a subject or a full half-day, you can exempt the student from PRONOTE or, if you are working on a common base, from the Client EDT, display Daily management and absences > Students > Exemptions:
- either an annual exemption if the subject is never taken,
- or by making an exemption on certain half-days for the subject or all subjects if the student leaves the class for all the courses.
