Import students from an LDAP directory
Students can be imported into EDT from an LDAP directory, provided that the data contained in the file complies with the expected syntax.
- Go to the menu Imports/Exports > TXT/CSV/XML/SQL > Import in LDAP.
- In the import window, select the type of data to be imported from the drop-down menu.
- Configure the LDAP server connection and identify yourself with your login and password.
- Associate each column with an EDT rubric by clicking on the arrow to the right of the column.
You can apply a filter to import only certain data. To avoid having to do this every time you import, you can save the format (the next time you import, click on Open to recover it). - Once you have defined the rubrics, click on the button Import.
