  Can a course be prevented from being modified?

You can prevent the software from moving courses. Select a course on the timetable grid or in the list of courses in the display Timetable > Course > List, right-click, then select Lock non de-positionable or Lock in the same place.

If you lock a course with the yellow padlock, you authorize the software to move the course to another slot, but not to de-position it. If you lock a course with the red padlock, you prevent the course from being moved to another time slot. Regardless of the color of the padlock, you can still change the location of the courses if you move them manually.
