What's the point of managing the staff in EDT?

Entering staff data in EDT allows you to manage their absences, thanks to the numerous displays in the tab Daily management and absences > Staff, and quickly create teaching assistant timetables.
If you use EDT Network, staff management is also required so that staff can access EDT data, according to the authorizations configured by SPR.
