  • Create a group of rooms

The notion of room groups is specific to EDT. It implies that certain rooms in the institution are interchangeable (labs, rooms with the same capacity, etc.) and guarantees that a course will have a room without you having to specify which one. The rooms you intend to include in the room group must have been created in advance.
  1. Go to the display Timetable > Rooms > List.
  2. Click on Create a room, enter the name of the room group, then validate with the key Enter on your keyboard.
  3. In column Number, enter the number of rooms to be added to the room group.


  4. To add rooms to the group, go to the display Timetable > Rooms > Room group management.
  5. Select the room group from the list on the left, then click and drag a room from the list on the right to the central list to add it to the group.



  6. Use the arrows to the right of the list to move the rooms to the top of the list that you want EDT to use first.
