  • Extract data

In EDT, "data extraction" means displaying only this data in the list. Data extraction is an invaluable aid to the legibility of lists, and facilitates the manipulations you perform within them.
  1. Conduct a multi-selection of the data to be extracted.
  2. Activate the command from the menu Extract > Extract the selection, or use the shortcut Ctrl + X: carry out the desired manipulations on this reduced list.

At the bottom left of the list, a counter shows the number of lines displayed and the total number of lines in the list. Don't worry, no data has disappeared!
  3. To redisplay the entire list, activate the command Extract > Extract all or use the shortcut Ctrl + T.
