Can I remove or delete a class meeting from a complex course while keeping the other class meetings aligned?

Yes. In the display Timetable > Course > List, double-click on the complex course; in the list Teaching class meetings in the pop-up window, select the concerned class meeting, right-click, then click on the command Transform into a simple and independent course.
