Why do I have to create all the courses before starting the placement?

If you create courses as you go along, the software won't be able to perform its calculations correctly during automatic placement, and you could find yourself "stuck" with courses that are impossible to place on the grid (especially if the courses you add later are complex and/or of long duration).
