  • Connect to PRONOTE

 
How you access PRONOTE depends on your institution. At the start of the year, you'll be given these details, as well as your username and password, which may or may not be the same as the previous year.
If the authorized by the institution, you can connect to PRONOTE:
  • from a Client PRONOTE: this is the connection mode that offers the most functionality. You need to connect from a workstation where the software is installed, either from your own computer or from one at your institution.
  • through the Teachers Webspace: this is the most frequently used connection method. Simply connect to the address provided by the institution.
  • via a mobile application: this is the connection mode that lets you do most of the work from your phone. You need to download the PRONOTE application and configure it.



From a Client PRONOTE

NOTE: some features are only available from the Client PRONOTE. For example: reset students' passwords, view students' internship and health records, modify subject coefficients per domain, modify the mock-up of gradebooks, report cards, brevet records and school transcripts, view scholastic disengagement, schedule punishments, view and enter sanctions and publish them in the Parents Webspace, modify photos in the roster, print a blank MCQ, etc.
  • If you wish to install it on a Windows workstation
The easiest way is to download it from your Teachers Webspace:
  1. Go to My data > Account > Preferences.
  2. Click on the button Download Client PRONOTE.



  3. Continue the installation and apply the suggested configurations to connect to your institution's database.
Otherwise, the Client PRONOTE is also available on the PRONOTE download page.
 
  • If you want to install it on a Mac computer
We recommend that you download the PRONOTE + Wine Client Pack, available on the PRONOTE download page. To configure the connection to your institution's base, ask your institution's PRONOTE administrator to provide you with the Server's contact details or, if the institution has chosen the hosted mode, enter:
      • RNE.index-education.net as IP address (by replacing RNE with your institution's RNE number)
      • 49300 as TCP port



    Through the Teachers Webspace

    Connect to your Webspace with the address, username and password provided by the institution. The first time you log in, you'll need to personalize your password.
    To choose a strong password, follow the recommendations of the CNIL.



    Via the mobile application

    1. Install the PRONOTE application on your mobile from your usual app store.
    2. Configure your account by flashing the QR code provided by the institution or generated from your Webspace in My data > Account.



    1. Enter the 4 digits you will be asked to enter when configuring the mobile application.


    1. Flash the QR code from your cellphone.
