Teaching assistants can't connect to the Client. Why can't they?
If you designate staff as "Teaching assistants" in the base, they cannot connect to the Client: they connect exclusively online to the Teaching assistants Webspace, from a web browser.
If necessary, assign them the connection mode Student Administration in addition to the Teaching assistants mode; the Student Administration connection mode grants access to the Client.
