  • Why is it safer to use several Super Administrator accounts, rather than a single SPR account?

The SPR can choose to delegate (or share) its rights with other users in the Administration group: these other users are then called superadministrators. Sharing SPR rights between several superadministrator accounts is more secure than using the SPR account alone (or worse, shared between several people!) because a superadministrator account, unlike the SPR account, is a nominative account.
The user of a superadministrator account can:
  • modify the base in his/her name (useful, in particular, for identifying who did what in the window Logbook of base operations);
  • communicate with other users on his/her behalf in the tab Communication (Discussions, Info/surveys, etc.)
  • strengthen the security of access to your account (in fact, everyone knows that the SPR identifier is... SPR! With a superadministrator account, the user can personalize his login so that it's not known to anyone else);
  • avoid connection problems when taking up a new function: a superadministrator can access the hosting console and/or receive new logins if the former SPR left the institution before the start of the academic year.
