What is the purpose of the entry assistant?
The data-entry assistant helps you to fill in appraisals more quickly. You can use the appraisals proposed by your institution or write your own appraisals, which you can then assign to students semi-automatically when filling in the bulletins.
Add new appraisal
- Go to Parameters > Entry assistant appraisals.
- In the pop-up window, click on New to add appraisal categories (the categories are listed in alphabetical order, so you can name them A, B, C, D, for example, with one category for each level).
- Click on Create an appraisal, then write your text.
Use the entry assistant
- Go to a display with an entry assistant:
- all the displays in the tab Bulletins > Entry of the appraisals,
- the displays dedicated to entering appraisals in the tabs Grades > Gradebooks, Competencies > Bulletins, Competencies > Cycle assessments, Results > School transcript and Results > Assessments.
- To activate the assistant, click on the icon Activate the entry assistant, located at the top right of your screen.
- Place your mouse on the first line, in the column of the appraisals, and double-click: the assistant window opens.
- Select an appraisal, then click on Validate the entry.
- Deactivate the entry assistant: you can then come back to each appraisal and personalize it.
For even faster entry, activate vertical editing of bulletins: the assistant window remains open while you enter appraisals, and you automatically switch from one to the other without having to double-click each time.
