  • Handling the week slider (active period)

The time editor groups 4 sliders at the bottom of most displays in the tab Schedules. During the diagnosis, icons and colors can be displayed to indicate availability.

The Resource slider

It indicates in yellow the weeks of presence of the selected resource in the course. By resource, we mean any human or material data used in a course that can be occupied (teacher, class, room...). A resource can only be occupied by one course at a time.

Verify the presence of a resource in a course

  1. Select a course.
  2. In the course form, click on the concerned resource.
  3. Check the yellow slider at the bottom of the screen, which indicates the weeks of attendance.

The Course slider

It indicates in green the weeks on which the selected course takes place. The Course slider activates when a course is selected. Each class meeting is represented by a green square.

Delete or add an additional class meeting

  1. Select a placed course.
  2. In the Course slider, click on a green square corresponding to the week concerned to add or delete a class meeting for that week.

If the course has a Potential, it is necessary to first extend the potential over the concerned weeks (see below).

The Potential slider

It indicates in blue the weeks on which the selected course can take place in case the class meetings are mobile or cumulative. This slider is displayed only when the selected course has a potential.

Modify the potential of a course

  1. Select a course.
  2. Click on the weeks of the slider Potential to highlight the weeks where the course can take place.

The Active period slider

It indicates in pearly white , the highlighted weeks, on which you are working. They bear a calendar week number or customized according to your display preferences. The changes made to the courses are valid for this period.

You can change the color of the slider Active period in the menu My preferences > Colors.

Highlight or turn off several consecutive weeks

Click and drag on the weeks.

Highlight or turn off several non-consecutive weeks

Ctrl + click on the weeks.

Highlight only one week (and turn off the others)

Alt + click on the week to highlight.

Highlight a predefined period

The predefined periods must have been created beforehand in a calendar.
  1. By default, the class calendar is selected: you can change it on the right of the slider.
  2. Click on the button to see the predefined periods and allocate/add/remove one.
  3. You can also highlight 1 week out of 2, 3 or 4 or highlight the current week.

The button allows quick access to the parameters of calendars and sealing of the active period.
