Activate site management
The management of the sites allows to build the schedule by taking into account the movements between distant sites.
- Go to the menu Parameters > General parameters > Sites.
- Tick Activate site management.
Advice
Use sites to manage travel time between sites. A room belongs to a single site, a course without a room can be directly assigned to a site. When in a course the site of the room does not match the site assigned to the course, it is the site of the course that is taken into account.
- Click on the creation line, enter the name of a site and validate with the key Enter. Enter all of your sites.
- Allocate a color to each site: it can be convenient to display courses in the color of the site on some timetables.
- In the table of inter-site travel, double-click in the column Time limits to be observed to indicate the travel time from one site to another: thus, if you use automatic placement, PRONOTE Campus will not immediately place the following courses on sites that are too far away.
- Indicate how many site changes you allow per day for teachers and classes, and at what time of day.
At a later time, it will be necessary to indicate the site of the rooms or courses for these constraints to be taken into account.
