How to indicate that a student is excused/absent, etc. for a test?
Instead of a grade, you can enter an annotation.
If you do not wish to count the test in the calculation of the average:
- A: the student is Absent (Abs)
- E: the student is Exempt (Exemp)
- N: the student is Not graded (N.Grad)
- I: the student is Inapt (Inapt)
- S: the student has Not submitted the assignment (N.Sbm)
To count the test as a 0 when calculating the average:
- Z: the student has an unjustified absence (Abs*)
- W: the student has not handed in his/her work (N.Sbm*)
