Automatically import data in SQL format
- Go to the menu Imports/Exports > TXT/CSV/XML/SQL > Automatically import from a database in a SQL format.
- In the import window, choose from the drop-down menu the type of data to be imported.
- Tick Activate the automatic import of data and, in the dropdown menu, select either the Server
, or HYPERPLANNING.data
if you use it to manage automatic imports/exports.
- Choose the time and frequency of data recovery.
- Configure the connection to the SQL server using the assistant if necessary.
- Enter your request and click on the button Run the query.
- Associate each column with a HYPERPLANNING rubric by clicking on the arrow at the top of the column. If a column should not be imported, leave Ignored feild. If some data does not match the expected format, it will be displayed in red. Hover over it to display the reason for the problem in a tooltip.
- In the frame Options at the bottom of the window, indicate the sign that separates the data when a single cell contains several (for example, courses with multiple teachers, teachers with multiple subjects, etc.).
- Once all the matches have been established, click on the button Validate.
