  • Define the calendars

The use of predefined calendars is not mandatory but facilitates the work of users. If each class has its own predefined calendar, the user can quickly select, without risk of error, the weeks concerned on the slider before making a modification.

First step: customize the existing calendar and create new ones if needed

There is a default calendar that is allocated to all classes. If all classes follow the same calendar (same beginning of school year, same vacations, etc.), it is not necessary to create calendars, just customize the default calendar.
  1. Go to the menu Parameters > Other data > Calendars.

  1. The default calendar has 3 periods: Semester 1, Semester 2, Full year.

You can:
  • rename the period/calendar: double-click on the period/calendar designation, enter the new designation and confirm with the key Enter
  • modify the type of the periods: by default, they are periods of Courses. It is important to indicate that this is a period In-company because you will be able to use this period to initialize the weeks of internship/work-study;
  • modify the weeks of a period: click and drag on the highlighted weeks to turn them off/on the unlit weeks to turn them on, you can also define day by day, which is practical to designate the days of course and the days in-company in the case of the alternation;
  • change the color of a period: double-click in the column Color and choose a color from the color chart. The colors of the periods are visible on the printed calendars;
  • add a period: select the calendar, right-click and choose Add a period at the end;

  • delete a period: select the period, right-click and choose Delete the selection or use the key Del;

  • change the order of the periods: once all the periods have been created, use the arrows at the top right to modify the position of the selected period.
  1. If the classes follow different calendars, create as many calendars as necessary. To do this, click on the line Create a calendar, enter a designation and validate with the key Enter.

You can print the calendar: to do this, right click and choose Print in a calendar format.

Second step: allocate a calendar to each class

  1. Go to the tab Schedules > Classes > List.
  2. Select all classes that have the same calendar.
  3. Right-click and choose the command Modify > Calendar.

  1. In the pop-up window, double-click on the appropriate calendar.
