  • Verify the teaching services

A teaching service refers to a set of class meetings of a course that share the same resources. It is the teaching service that HYPERPLANNNG takes into account to create the pedagogical progressions and number the class meetings on the schedules.

The teaching services are created automatically after the creation of the courses. By default, HYPERPLANNING creates a subject - public service without taking into account the teacher.

Display the teaching services

  1. Go to the tab Studies > Teaching services > List.
  2. Choose the type of resources (subjects, teachers, classes, groupings) in the drop-down menu depending on the point of entry you want.
  3. Select the resource on the left: its teaching services appear on the right.
  4. Select a service: the corresponding class meetings of the course are displayed below.

Possible modification n°1: indicate that teachers must be taken into account

If you prefer subject - public - teacher services, you can change the default settings for existing and future services.
  1. Go to the menu Parameters > Course > Services.
  2. Choose the option by taking into account the teachers...
  3. Tick Also apply the above parameters to the existing services.
  4. Close the window.

You can also change this setting directly on some services in the tab Studies > Teaching services > List. To do this, double-click in the column : if necessary, additional services are created and the concerned teachers are displayed next to them.  The icon [star pencil] indicates that these services have a custom setting compared to the default setting.

Modification n°2: declare the occasional public

Each time public is added to a course, HYPERPLANNING creates a new service. In order for class meetings with occasional public to remain in the same teaching service, the public must be declared as occasional.
  1. Double-click in the column Public > Occasional of the concerned service.
  2. In the pop-up window, tick the public that should not result in the creation of a new service when added to a course with a stationary public.

The declaration of occasional public can be made prior to or after the services generated by HYPERPLANNING; in this case, HYPERPLANNING merges the different services containing the stationary public and the occasional public.
