Create a header/footer
There are three default templates that you can customize, but you can also create others. They can be used:
- when drafting templates for letters and documents,
- during some printing (timetable, gradebooks, report card, etc.),
- during the display of the light panels.
- Go to the menu Parameters > Institution > Headers/Footers.
- Click in the creation line, enter a title, then validate with the key Enter.
- Select the type of template:
- Set dimension: you cannot intervene on the formatting. Only the content is customizable. It can be used in mail and printouts;
- Dimension with a maximum height of 3 cm: apart from the maximum height limited to 3 cm, you can access all other formatting options. It can be used in mail and printouts;
- Unrestricted dimension: the created template can be used as a header or footer. You can change its size, its alignment, its orientation and define or not a frame. It can only be used in mail.
- Select the header or footer from the list and customize it in the right panel.
- If you have chosen the templates Unrestricted dimension or Dimension with a maximum height of 3 cm, you can define the layout (orientation, alignment, size and frame).
- Click on the button Insert and choose the wanted variables. The information concerning the institution is the one entered in the menu Parameters > Institution > Identity.
- To display a logo in one of the default templates, load it first in the menu Parameters > INSTITUTION > Identity in a *.bmp, *.jpeg, *.jpg or *.png format, then select the logo insert, click on the button Insert and choose Logo library > [Name of logo].
