Export timetables in iCal format
The iCal files (*.ics) generated by HYPERPLANNING can be read by most personal organizers, smartphones and tablets. The iCal data can also be published on Internet via a Web server.
Manually export timetables in iCal format
- Go to the menu Imports/Exports > ICAL > Export in an iCal format.
- In the export window, select the Type of data to export in the drop-down menu.
- Check the information that will compose the name of the file.
- In the tab Contents, tick the information that will appear on the courses.
- Highlight the concerned weeks on the bottom slider.
- Click on the button Generate: HYPERPLANNING generates a *.ics file per resource.
Program an automated export of timetables in iCal format
- Go to the menu Imports/Exports > ICAL > Automatically export in an iCal format.
- In the export window, select the Type of data to export in the drop-down menu.
- Tick Activate, choose the frequency of the export and a format for the file names. If necessary, change the directory where the *.ics files will be stored by clicking on the button [three dots].
- In the tab Contents, tick the information that will appear on the courses.
- Highlight the concerned weeks on the bottom slider.
- Click on the button Validate.
Students and teachers can generate their timetable in iCal format and synchronize it with other applications if you authorize them to do so.
