  What is Exclusive Usage mode?

This is a mode specific to the Network version that allows the supervisor (SPR), administrators and authorized users (authorization Activate Exclusive Usage mode ticked in the category Administration) to work alone on the database; the other connected users, are notified by a message, then automatically switch to Consultation and can no longer act on the database. These are reconnected in Modification once the mode Exclusive Usage is closed.

This mode is automatically activated when certain commands are launched (importing data, modifying the calendar, launching automatic placement, etc.), it is recognizable by the orange frame of the HYPERPLANNING workspace.

In Exclusive Usage mode, the data is not saved as you go. If you do not save it manually Ctrl + S, HYPERPLANNING asks you to confirm the saving when you exit the mode.

Manually launch the Exclusive Usage mode

Exit the Exclusive Use mode

Go to the menu File > Quit "Exclusive usage" mode or click on the button in the toolbar.
