  • How do I reset user passwords?

Users with the Modification profile require authorization to reset their passwords.
From the window User administration, click on the tab Utilization profiles. Select the profile Modification, then to the right:
  • in the category Teachers/Staff, tick the authorization Reset the teachers' passwords;
  • in the category Students/Parents, tick the authorization Reset the students' passwords and/or Reset the parents' passwords.

For administrative users

  1. To reset a password at a user's request, go to the list of the concerned users:
    • Schedules > Teachers/Students > List,
    • Schedules > Students > Parent form,
    • In-company > Internships > List of internship counselors,
    • In-company > Work-study programs > List of counselors/tutors.
  2. Select the concerned user(s), right-click and choose Modify > Automatic password.
  3. In the confirmation window, click on Yes.

For users with the Modification profile

  1. Go to the display Schedules > Teachers/Students > List or Schedules > Students > Parent form.
  2. Select the concerned user(s), right-click and choose Modify > Reset the passwords.
  3. In the confirmation window, click on Yes.
