  How to calculate a penalty based on absences?

Instead of entering a penalty in the report card, click on the at the top of the column Bonus/Penalty and enter in the pop-up window the number of points to be deducted and the percentage of absences in the courses beyond which the points will be deducted. Tick the absences to be taken into account (Justified, Unjustified, Only those where course attendance is compulsory) then click on Apply.
