Configure the sending of e-mails from the Server
When you send e-mails from your workstation, they can be processed in two ways (depending on the settings you have chosen): either they are sent to the recipients directly from the Client 
, or they are sent first to the Server 
(that centralizes the e-mails of all the Clients of your system), then resent to the recipients from the same Server.
Delegate the sending of e-mail to the Server has several advantages:
If the messaging service is not configured from the server, it must be defined from each account. The administrator can define messaging profiles, which are then applied by the users.

- only one setting to be carried out (on the Server level, or even no setting in hosted mode);
- no e-mail lost in case of failure (if the SMTP server is down, the e-mails are kept at the level of the Server HYPERPLANNING and sent later);
- no more waiting while sending, whether you want to continue working or shut down your computer.

Option n°1: centralize the sending of e-mails from the Server
- From the Server , select the schedule, then click on the panel E-mail dispatching parameters.
- Tick the box Delegate the sending of all e-mail to the Server HYPERPLANNING.
- Enter the sender's name and address: these elements can be seen by the recipients in case the sender has an address outside the authorized domains.
- If you have chosen the non-hosted mode, click on the button to enter your SMTP server information.
- Fill in the information about your SMTP server by clicking on the icon in the rubric Dispatching parameters.
- Click on the button Test the sending of e-mail to verify the configuration. If you receive the message time limit exceeded, augment the waiting time of the server.
Option n°2: send e-mails from the Client
- Go to the menu Configuration > Configure the sending of e-mail for this workstation.
- Select the option Personal account, then click on the button to add your email information.
- Click on Next, then enter the received verification code.
- Select the option Define my own parameters, then click on the button to enter the information concerning the SMTP server (to be found in the messaging software).
- Click on the button Test the sending of e-mail to verify the configuration. If you receive the message time limit exceeded, augment the waiting time of the server.
