  How do the entered times influence the absence count?

Beforehand, it is advisable to un-tick any non-working days, such as weekends.



Indeed, if no times are entered, an absence that includes Saturday and Sunday would count as weekend hours.

If the student is absent during the internship, the entry of times determines the number of hours of absence counted:

• If no times are entered in the tab Times, an absence of 7 hours per day will be counted by default. This option may be preferred if the hours that are worked are evenly spread over the week (5 days of 7 hours).
  
  
  
  
• If different times are defined for each day of the internship, they will be taken into account to initialize the number of hours of absence for each day.
  
  
  
  
• If, on the other hand, times are defined only for certain days, the other days (without times) are considered as not worked. For these days, 0 hours is indicated.
