  • Manage the validation of modules

The validation of the modules is carried out from the report cards: the corresponding column must be ticked beforehand in the mock-ups.
To include the column Validation on the report cards, go to the tab Grading > Report cards > Definition of the report card mock-ups, select the mock-up, click on the tab Body of the report card in the right panel and tick Validation of the module in the frame Details of the averages.

First possibility: launch an automatic validation

The automatic validation takes into account the threshold grades defined for each service. It is launched class by class from the report card of one of the students.
  1. Go to the tab Grading > Grading services > Grading services, select the class and verify the threshold grades defined for the modules in the right panel.

  1. Go to the tab Grading > Summary > Summary, select the class, select any student below, click on the button at the top of the column Validation, then confirm that the validation must be carried out for the whole class: the mention Validated/Not validated with today's date is automatically displayed next to each module for which the average obtained is equal to or higher than the threshold grade. To hide the date or display another designation other than Validated/Not validated, customize the possible mentions for the class.

It is always possible to manually modify a mention or the validation date: to do so, double-click on the mention (see the manual validation of modules below).

Second possibility: manually validate the modules

  1. Go to the tab Grading > Summary > Summary and select the class.
  2. Select the first student.
  3. Double-click in the column Validation next to a module.

  1. Choose the mention and if necessary, modify the validation date. If you are not satisfied with the suggested mentions, customize the possible mentions for the class.
  2. Move on to the next service, then once the report card is completed, move on to the next student.
