Create a series of tests
In order to enter grades, a test must be created beforehand. Tests are usually created by teachers at the time of grade entry, but administrative staff can anticipate this by creating all expected tests at the beginning of the year.
Step 1: create an assignment series
- Go to the tab Grading > Entry of the grades >
Grades. - Select one or more classes and one or more services from the lists on the left.
- Click on the button New test(s).
- Click on the dates of the different tests. For each date, an test per selected service will be created.
- The publication date is by default the beginning date of the period. If you don't modify it, the grades will be published directly after they have been entered.
- If the services are evaluated in different modes, indicate the mode corresponding to these tests.
- If necessary, modify the scale, the coefficient, the nature of the tests if optional, knowing that each teacher will be able to customize these parameters.
- Enter a comment for each test (visible to teachers and students once the grades are published). By clicking on the button
, you can automatically allocate a numbered label to the whole series (Test 1, Test 2, etc.). - The grading period is automatically allocated according to the date of the tests. Modify it if necessary.
- Validate: HYPERPLANNING automatically creates all the tests: to view them, select a single service.
Step 2: customize some features on a test-by-test basis
- Double-click at the top of the test, on its date.
- In the pop-up window, you can modify all the characteristics entered during the creation.
- You can also:
- attach a topic and a corrected copy,
- associate a MCQ,
- create a catch-up test.
